Mothercare Babygro with a metal spiky bit poking out of the popper!!

I recently bought a pack of babygros from Mothercare for my DS (7m) and went through my usual procedure of washing them & throwing away packaging, receipt etc when I got home. However when I put him in one of these babygros I was astonished to find a metal spiky bit on one of the poppers! It was approx 2mm long, quite sharp and was in a position where it would be in contact with my son's skin (i.e. on the inside of the garment).

I took it into Mothercare for a replacement (as the other two babygros in the pack were fine) and the staff were obviously genuinely shocked by it - they apologised profusely, offered me an immediate replacement and made no mention of needing receipts/packaging. They also said they would immediately report it to the correct people within their company to make sure it didn't happen again.

Now other than this incident, babygros I've purchased from Mothercare have always been very good quality - indeed the offending item was fine apart from the popper! However I thought that it might be a good idea to report it here, as I can't be the only one who doesn't check every inch of new babygros before use. I keep wondering if other items in the same line have this problem and whether any babies have actually been harmed by them :(

The babygro was one of the 'Let's count sheep' ones - they are black and white with sheep on them (funny that).

I do have photos but am not sure if I can post them here!
