DS is in desparate need of new bedroom furniture and I want something nice and reasonable quality but not too kiddified (so that it will last for a few years) but what I really want is a chest of drawers with a shelf unit/bookcase on top and I cant seem to find one anywhere that would be suitable or if I do see one there isnt a matching bedside table. Ideas anyone?

I was interested in this one on ebay but you'd need to make up your mind quickly. There's a matching bed with drawers.

Otherwise how about Ikea? They do some great kids furtiture.

The Bonde , Ivar and Docent bookcases from Ikea can have drawers put into the bottom shelves.

You could always put shelves on the wall rather than use a bookcase that stands on a chest of drawers - try the Ikea Robin range, which has bed, chest of drawers etc and several different wall shelves that all match. No specific bedside table, but if you get the white finish any white one will match - try the Corras one.

spidermama, that one is fantastic, ds2 would love it. its a shame that he will have to share a bedroom with his brother later in the year and will need bunkbeds other wise i would bid for it! and the cabin bed!
