Where can you get iron on patches for children's trousers with holes?

My son has gone through the knee of 4 pairs of trousers at nursery this week. Does anyone know if iron on patches will stay on and where to get them? The choice seems very limited on ebay and no idea where else to get. Thanks

Go to a haberdashery, maybe on the local market? You can get a repair tape thatirons inside the trouser to strenghten it, iron stays put but will loosen if you tumble dry, put it on with no steam on the iron too. Also if you struggle John Lewis or Hobbycraft?
