Nintendogs people: is my dd the only one with a really thick nintendog puppy?

PMSL at dd going 'sit Lucy' (Lucy is the nintendog puppy) on and on and on and on, with our real dog looking very confused next to her!!!
have to say the nintendog puppy really quite thick at learning 'sit' (dd only got the game yesterday so may be that's why...)
tell me it gets better!!!

not sure tbh! ds1 got this game for christmas and he too seems to have an extrmley thick puppy, know what you mean, as keep shouting at the ds sit kyle! dh keeps telling us to turn the bloody thing off, but ds1 is desperate to get it past this stage.

just to think i spent all that time and effort getting this game and he probably won't play it if ot doesn't progress quicker.
