Leapster /ipad thingy etc - best for 7 yr old girl

Seam to be loads of new ones out - looking to buy one for Christmas instead of the insidious DS for a & year old girl - any idea of best buy?

for a 7 year old, i would be looking at an ipod touch, she can play games which many are only around 60p and listen to music, watch films etc, my 5 and nearly 7 year old both have one and love them, i have just bought an innotab for my 3 year old
