It looks fab Bought it to go with the new car I have just ordered - went practical in the end and got a cute little Toyota Aygo. The iPod socket swung it

So, straight after ordering it DH took me over to Currys to buy an iPod. Now I have to work out how to use it. Have to admit that so far I haven't even opened the guides or anything.

So, before I do start sorting it out tonight - anything I should know first?

Ooohhh I like those cars, just been looking at them myself actually for when I pass my test (which will be in the next few months hopefully)

Hulababy · 18/12/2005 18:26

Downloaded 8 hours worth so far. Seems to take quite a long time to upload the CDs onto my computer, but very quick to download from computer to iPod.

Possibly...don't know too much about these little cars have to admit.

I am looking forward to getting it actually. No flashy or fast or powerful (I'll have to borrow the family car for the speed :D) ) but I think it is cute, and DH test drove it for me and says it is pretty nippy. Will be really economical too, and only insurance group 1. Oh and I think road tax is less too. So will be quids in

LadyTophamInAChristmasHatt · 18/12/2005 19:50

LOL...how many times have you changed your mind about your car hula?

What happened about the four thingy?

KaiserSoze · 18/12/2005 19:52

i feel i hav been in every car we have collectively gone through

Hulababy · 18/12/2005 19:52

The Smart was a disaster from start to finish. In the end the salesmen in charge or ordering cars was sacked. He had never ordered any of the cars he was supposed to have (not just ours) So got our deposit back and gave up.

Then been umming and ahing for a bit. Wanted a 2 seater sports car really, but had to be practical for a year or two at least, esp whilst DD is still so little. So have been

No more than 10k a year, probably much less. I do 80 mile round trip 3 days a week for work, on motorway. Rest is round town type driving. It is only a 1.0 engine, but quite tuned. It has more bhp than the Smart I was going to get. Will do me fine. For the bigger trips we will still use the Golf.

Why did your dh test drive it for you? surely you need to know if you like driving a car?

KaiserSoze · 18/12/2005 21:05

ah une bonne pointe

cranberryjampots · 18/12/2005 23:24

looks a nice little runaround hula

sounds like its extremely economical too.

ipods are extremely easy to use - just ask any child Molly should be able to show you

Enideepmidwinter · 19/12/2005 08:18

do you get muddled between the car and the ipod?

Hulababy · 19/12/2005 08:42

Why did DH test drive? I HATE test driving cars. Never have done. I check I can get a good driving position (not always easy for me) and have good vision, etc. But not interested in taking it for a drive. I have done it once and I gained nothing from doing so. I trust DH's judgement for me - it's been working so past 15 years or whatever so far
