why don't lego do more for girls?

i know they do clickits and a very expensive for what it is mermaid thingy, but i just really wish lego did a basic set of bricks in pinks/purples for girls. has anyone ever seen a set like this anywhere???

When lego origionally came out it was in basic colours and was praised as being the first real unisex childrens toy.

Then they realised that they could make far more money by aiming it towards boys and girls seperatly, so the 'boys lego' and 'girls lego' came out.

(just spent the morning at college discussing this lol)

Does anyone remember Scala? I wanted it so much as a child, but never had it. I would have been young enough to grab oldest Belville as well.
I had a colourful lightweight jacket that was Lego brand and loved it.
