broadband and who is the best?

Who do people use here? Want to know all the pros and cons...

Also if you have broadband do you still need to keep your BT line with all providers. Had a look at wanadoo and wanted to get rid of the bt line and get our calls through a broadband provider, if that possible???

I use Tiscali and have never had a problem, it is 17.99 pm for 2.5 megaburps no download limit..but they do various options

tiscali again here no probs - zips do u ahve the free telephone package as well? - we're ment to but our bill's always £30 p/m even thou internet's only £17.99 was wondering if there's a problem witht he phone calls??

I'm on wanadoo - 2 meg

but i think Bluetooth do 8 meg!

the 2 fastest performers at the moment are Nildram and Pipex

oooooooooh don't go with pipex - we were with them - overpriced and crap customer service if u ask me. (we were paying £35 for a 1mg connection with them utter rubbish)

I think Pipex are more business orientated aren't they?

My Tiscali connection is actually business but it's on the consumer package which is cheaper

Have ukonline. Very fast and they have been very helpful the one time I needed them (main reason I chose them)

Don't know about getting rid of BT line though.

we pay BT rental but apparently it's tiscali calls?? it's costing £14.99 per month for it.

thnaks will look into all these. There are just so many out there that its so hard to know where to go???

basically the more well known ones the connection won't be quite as fast, where as nildram like i mentioned earlier is very fast and very efficient

IME TISCALI are rubbish unless you like talking endlessly to INDIA and then them forgetting to return your calls

just switched from wanadoo - hated them with a passion.

now with NTL and they are FANTASTIC. No problems whatsoever.

I wanted htat package JM- but they don't came own here to us - we've got the sky (35) tiscali (30) BT (10)

we its 3 for £30 but we pay a little extra for the family package tv so total is about £36 a month... BARGAIN. We WERE paying BT (45) Wanadoo (18) and sky (35)
