Where can I get an old fashioned raincoat for ds1?

like the waterproof fishermans style - they were around in the 70's, bright yellow or blue sort of waxed cotton or rubber. Have found Boden do a version for £44 and glt (why is the camouflage look in??)but I was hoping to pay around £20.

I kept having a look at them in Petit BAteau (lovely made, very tempted to buy one but dubious about paying £50. At the end I found it in an outlet for £5

chandra - have just been looking ar the petit bateau one and 'swoon' ! where is the retail outlet? whats it called? found one on ebay but its for a 12 month old....

Not much use now Shrub, they closed down the Petit Bateau store of the outlet over the summer. Maybe their website have info about other outlet stores.

im not sure but debenhams had similar one last year, pink one with matching hat waterproof material.

h&m have bright yellow fisherman style rain coats at the mo!!

saw one in 5-6 years at the metrocentre h&M....have u got a h&m near u?

oh thanks leabump - will investigate further, we have one in exeter. i shall be swimming in a sea of fisherman style coats. (i do have 3 ds's though)

umm... this thread is 5 years old... I am sure shrub found one already... otherwise her DS1 probably had pneumonia a few times in the intervening period!
