My son is easily distracted when doing school work. He has no other specific problems and I wondered if these cusions gave helped any other similar kids?

We use yhose cushions a lot for children who find sitting still a challenge for whatever reason

They dont work miracles, but it wouldnt hurt to try

Does he sit close to the teacher to minimise his distractions? or could he have a little area he can take himself off to if he feels he cant concentrate?

He's is y 3 now and they have no carpet space. The going to sit him on his own for when he is doing work on his own to see if that helps.

Movement breaks will help, regular chances to get up walk around, or press his hands hard together and shake them or jump up and down on the spot etc

Speak to his teacher

Thanks. I was called in to discuss his lack of progress this wk and she says distraction is his problem. We have parents eve in 3 wkd so will see if sitting by his self has had any impact. Will try and collate a list of other things to try like the moving around one .
