Sleepsuits with feet for 3 year olds?

frannyf · 23/09/2005 19:49

Does anyone know where to get all in one sleepsuits with feet for children over 2? Mothercare only seem to go up to 2 years. I saw some organic ones somewhere but they were 11 quid each, just wondered if there were cheaper alternatives....

Also, what do your children age 2 and up wear in colder weather in bed, if not sleepsuits? If ds wears pjs they ride up and leave his tummy sticking out.

Just put socks on! My 4 yera old weras the feetless sleepsuits sometimes and does not have a problem with cold feet.

frannyf · 23/09/2005 19:57

Ok, where can I get the footless sort?? Sorry if I'm being thick but I don't think I've seen many all in ones for this age group, with or without feet, just pjs.

mine wears pjs with a fleece zip up suit over the top. Got one in the BHS sale in the summer for around £6 but probably cost more now that it is winter. Does he have a duvet?

CelluliteQueen · 23/09/2005 20:21

Hi frannyf, I had the same problem as my 2.1 DS is still Grobagged and I couldn't find larger ones either. M&S do Age 2-3 Sleepsuits and they are quite large. DS is a big lad and there's plenty of room in the ones I've just bought him.

If you log on to the M&S website and enter code T864525 they have a pack of 3 boy's sleepsuits in the sale for £5.

frannyf · 23/09/2005 20:25

Hi stripey, he normally has a grobag but I think the pjs riding up is uncomfortable for him. Basically he is the world's crappest sleeper so anything to minimise disturbances is a plus!

CQ (what a name!) that is great news about M + S and thanks for the link. I hadn't thought of them.

Thanks all, and any more ideas gratefully accepted.

NannyL · 24/09/2005 11:17

My cousin has got mothercare sleep suits in size 2 - 3!

im quite sure M&S do em too

charliecat · 24/09/2005 11:21

BHS and M and S do them with feet up to about 8 YO!

collision · 24/09/2005 11:22

Verbaudet do them too and are very reasonable.

NomDePlume · 24/09/2005 11:22

Vertbaudet do foot pjs

collision · 24/09/2005 11:25

snap!

frannyf · 24/09/2005 12:17

Oh, super, thanks everybody. Vertbaudet, why didn't I think of these places? I did check on the Mothercare website and couldn't see them there, but will look again. I think that's when I started panicking - "If Mothercare don't do them, nowhere does!"

Thanks again.

I read this as sleepsuits with 3 feet.

frannyf · 25/09/2005 09:18

LOL! And you'd been smoking what, exactly?

popmum · 25/09/2005 09:20

i have some body suits from tesco 2-3 yrs so they may do the sleep suits?

flamebat · 25/09/2005 09:25

They've got some fleecy ones with feet in Adams (DD was wanting one, but could make it fun the nights she announces she needs a wee!).

Mine wears pjs, vest underneath tucked in, and socks if its really cold. She doesn't tend to feel the cold though.

Hulababy · 25/09/2005 09:31

DD (age 3) just wears either Pjs or nighties in bed, regardless of weather. She is a hot bod anyway so gets hot and sweaty whatever she wears. So, to stay happy, so long as her nightwear had Princesses, Dora or similar on she is fine

flamebat · 25/09/2005 09:33

Dora was how I convinced her that we didn't need the sleepsuit!

frannyf · 25/09/2005 09:34

I still can't find them on the Mothercare website. We are going to drive up there later, so I'll see if there are any in the shop.
