what can we buy our 1 year old boy this Christmas!?

Any suggestions what kind of gift we could get our baby this Christmas?? it is our first Christmas with him, I want to make it special, but don't want (or feel the need) to spend loads as I am sure he will be getting lots of gifts from family and friends.

I would like to get him something he can obviously enjoy, but maybe something more than a toy that he may well get bored of in a couple of months time!

Perhaps spending £30 - £50.

Not alot really but a huge hit and a great basic toy is the mega blocks in the wagon (about £20). Wagon great and blocks the best for all ages.

Also Bruder toys make baby standard tractors/vehicles. Excellent strong quality and love Bruder.

That will do for now, most toys are a waste of money. Best invest the money than spend on pointless toys.

I'm in the same situation (although don't think my ds will be getting much from our family!).
I'm going to get him the fisher price garage.
