washing machines. which one should i buy?

there is such a huge range out their. and so many different makes. can anyone recommend a particular one, or one to stay away from?/

Our Zanussi Jetsystem is still going well after 15 years hard labour ! (Will probably die on me now) and we've had a Bosch which was very efficient.

All i can say is i LOVE hotpoint and the hotpoint aquarius is fab...

Be sure to see how long a typical wash takes.... my charges granny has just got a new one and even a normal 40C wash takes over 2 hours.... VERY annoying!

It doesnt have a quick wash or time saver either!

Zanussi fan here. It is brilliant! I will def get another one if this one ever dies. My mum had one for well over 10 years.
