Childs table and chairs - if the seat of the chair is 28cm high, about what height should the table be?

I've found some great 50s dutch primary school chairs and a little 50/60s table to go with them. Both were astoundingly bargainous

The table is far to high (as I knew it would be), shortening the legs shouldn't be a problem but I've no idea what short of height it needs to be. Help!

I was guessing 45-50ish but it seemed a bit silly just to guess.

Oldest DC is not yet 3 so I don't want them growing out of it too quickly, even though I suspect there will be a substantial profit when I do sell them on.
