Yes I know, but I am determined to get it right this year! Whats popular for boys and girls, mine don`t get alot through out the year, and being an "older" Mum I sometimes feel out of date with things! I particularly want to find good things for the boys, good quality binoculars, bug catching kits, anything to do with bugs for Thomas, good quality plastic ones etc. They are past Early Learning toys, want something more now. James loves space, and Rebecca is very arty, I thought good mosaic pictures etc. Any ideas or good web sites please?

Dr Who (loads on Ebaby but I am struggling to track down elsewhere. I know someone who makes bespoke arts and crafts packs ([email protected]), you just e-mail her with a price, colours etc. I got a great pink and lilac one for a fiver, lots of card, stamps, ink, fibres- all sorts.

DS1 (5) wants a train set, Dalek, DVD, art stuff, Roald Dahl book and lego; DS2 (4) wants puppet theatre, puppets, Gruffalo CD, DVD, Tardis, and art stuff.

They have to get their lists in early: it gets bought whenever the student grant arrives!

No ideas for DS3 (2) though, if anyone has any? He is already up to the hilt on ride on toys BTW.

If the boys are into football, there is a metal football goal on the nursery and toys website, which is reduced from £30-£5!
They do a planet thingy in Argos.
