help please!
a couple of years ago we went to our local bike shop and spent £90 each on Raleigh Molly bikes for the DDs, complete with sparkly tassles, a doll etc. they have been utter shite.

so now we are going to teach them to ride this summer and need some new bikes, without stabilisers.

i recall someone recommending Isla before. Can anyone give me any more guidance before i go and get ripped off spend another couple of hundred quid.

thanks in advance

well just back from a weekend which included a trip to Isla bikes.
phew that is a long, slow, windy journey from the M5... looks quite a short distance on the map!

have ordered 2 Isla bikes, one for each dd.... due to be delivered in a week. the tips on teaching them to ride and general service was amazing. as was the lunch in the cafe next door.

will report back on the bikes if anyone is interested Smile

bookmarking this amidaiwish - it's on our list to go to islabikes at some point this summer. will look forward to your report back - have fun when they arrive!

We have 3 Islabikes, if anyone else wants more feedback :).
There are LOTS of reviews on children's bikes on Bikeradar.com -- most(?) the reviews by Dan Joyce (the tech editor of CTC) who tests the bikes on his own kids.
