how do u get mould out of fabric

as i said in anther thread dd new car seat was in our larder in the kitchen and has gone really mouldy as has dps good jacket. putting a claim into the council but wandered if there was anything i could use to clean it

I had a pushchair years ago that went mildewy in the garage, scrubbed it with a strong milton solution, that took some of the colour out, but the mildew was also gone.

Out of interest,why are you putting a claim in to the council? How could it concern them?
