After sex cuddling - yay or nay?

I think I’m just looking for confirmation we’re normal, and it’s not a case of the romance being dead.

After sex, we clean up and get back into bed. There will be a kiss or 2 but then we either get comfortable to go to sleep or put the TV on/go on our phones.

The lovey dovey cuddling after sex dies out, right?
We’ve been together 15 years, so we know we both love each other but do we really need the snuggling depicted in the movies?

An afterglow holding of each other is as important for me as the inappropriately named foreplay, which is far more important than the term suggests.

I personally like a cuddle. I think it's important. I can get onboard with putting on the telly and watching something while still cuddling.... but not going on our phones.

Also, depends on the time. Weekday morning: sex, quick kiss, get ready for the day. Bedtime: Sex/cuddle/lazy chat/sleep. Weekend: combo of those.

I preferred to sleep with a little physical space between myself an a partner, but the cuddle was a must.
TVs in the bedroom are anathema for me, and the idea of post-coital web-surfing makes me want to weep.

We kiss and cuddle and fall asleep together like that. If it’s the morning we have an extra long cuddle and tend to be affectionate all day!

I do ask for a cuddle for a short while, but then I give him space to sleep and he’s asleep within about 2 minutes flat 😂

That’s why l prefer day time sex.

Yeah we do it more often in the day or mornings rather than nighttime for this reason as at the end of the day it’s like shooting him with a tranquilliser dart

I personally don't cuddle with my dh right after we are done..

We both usually go take a shower and then we take a nap or if it's night we'll sleep..

It's a personal preference, you either like it or you don't i suppose. I'm guessing it's only suffocating if one of you likes it and one of you doesn't.

14 years married and we cuddle after sex. If you can't cuddle then, when can you?

Everyone's different but I'd find it weird if we had sex and then stayed other sides of the bed.
