I’m frustrated but think it’s not real!

So firstly yes I am a Real woman! I’m 51
married and although we have a healthy sex life now up until a year ago we hadn’t had sex for 5 years. I was dead below the waist.

the pendulum has swung the other way and now I’m in a
constant state of arousal. I mean that 💯 It is beyond frustrating because i feel like im never satisfied.

I do orgasm with husband and I masterbate too but I feel like it’s not enough. Sometimes if we haven’t had sex or I haven’t had privacy to play I ache. Like my lady bits ache!!!

WTF is wrong with me? Is anyone else getting this???

For those urges I think there are two main responses - either cut it off (no stimulation, no touch) and see if it subsides after a period of frustration. Or, you just keep going until you're bored and/or exhausted!

I’m looking for females who have experienced this and wondering how long it lasts. Honestly the years of apathy were easier to deal with.

This could be medical. Do you suffer with restless legs at all?

I was in a totally different age bracket at the time but for me this was nerve related and resolved when I was treated for B12 deficiency…

Have your periods stopped? It’s probably menopause (sex surge). Hormones go crazy and testosterone becomes more dominant, increasing sex drive dramatically. I’d never heard of this!

Yes, happened to me. I’d say I was in the state you’re in now for a good 18 months to 2 years. It settled but I’m more sexual now than I was before (and it’s 9 years since my last period).

Always had a high sex drive but its gone into overdrive in my late 40s. Luckily my DH is enjoying this and we go to clubs together...

How would restless legs be linked to this. Interested!

The restlessness literally extended upwards and there was a need to keep, ummm, you know… sometimes for hours at a time over and over, it just would not go away and was physically uncomfortable.

It depends whether it’s just an general boost to sex drive, or more based around a physical sensation to the point of it being irritating and problematic (but I guess there’s degrees of severity as well). It’s hard to know from the post. If you google restless genital syndrome though… it’s a thing. And for me, it was caused by B12 deficiency but there could be many causes. Google suggests a link to bladder issues which I was also struggling with, but both issues improved no end with B12 injections.

A side-effect of medication used to treat restless leg syndrome can be hypersexuality.
