Condoms that don't taste vile?

I enjoy giving oral to my husband as a break from penetrative sex (piv -> oral -> piv). It was easy when I was on the pill, but we now use condoms for contraception.

He’s very unpredictable time-wise, so I wouldn’t feel comfortable starting off without a condom.

So, he puts a condom on for penetrative sex. I remove it if I decide to go down on him mid intercourse. Then he has to put one on again if we finish vaginally. It's a bit of a faff! But most importantly, condoms leave a lingering smell and taste (Durex, SKYN, etc.), which I don’t like 🥺 So, I hardly do it these days...

Any product/brand to recommend?

My wife had some major and expensive dental work done 2-3 years ago. BJs were out because of her worries about infection.

We'd never used condoms for oral before. She said she found them OK and, while the sensation for me was nowhere near the same, it was still enjoyable. Note that they are teat-free. I didn't come, but then I rarely do from oral.

This might be the solution, @hoopyvest ☺️ I didn't know condoms without lubricant existed. In my case, I would remove the condom before giving oral. At the moment, the smell and taste are probably coming from the lubricant residue left behind. So, this might work 😋
