Is anyone else receiving DM's but then the message has been deleted?

I have had this If someone has been banned for consistent or inappropriate PMs or has deleted their account, it will delete all the PMs sent <

everywhichway · 17/05/2026 00:19

Yep. I've experienced that too.

DoesthislookgoodOnMe · 17/05/2026 07:18

Yes usually perverts that have latched onto any comment I’ve made on the sex board and want to talk “ fantasies”.

StarlightLady · 17/05/2026 07:32

I’ve had a few deleted ones over the years; nothing recent though. That is in addition to the, admittedly rare, “hello, how are you?” From someone l don’t know.

l’ve no objection to a PM if the sender is respectful and it is explained why they are not communicating within a thread.

NameChangingNoreen · 17/05/2026 07:37

Had quite a few, only when I posted on here.

StarlightLady · 17/05/2026 09:29

To be fair, l’ve had some nice ones relating to posts on other sections too.

GigiAnnna · 17/05/2026 10:37

Yes I've had it quite a bit. They've probably been messaging others who have reported and they have been banned and deleted.

SUperchange · 17/05/2026 11:13

The Bi Threads seem to attract more in my experience.
Like @StarlightLady says there are nice messages, sometimes going off topic a little which might have spoiled the main thread.

FiftiesDIYer · 17/05/2026 11:19

Yes I had this yesterday immediately after replying to two posts on this board.

(M) I do on occasion, pm members here, usually to say something in response to a forum post which may be more personal and not necessarily of interest to the thread, but maybe to the poster.
To those who have received such pm from me, I hope you’ve found them respectful …. even if not actually very helpful!

The odd thing is that the usernames are always similar and quite comical!

Yes and always one word as they have no imagination! It’s very predictable

SUperchange · 17/05/2026 23:45

I had one today, it vanished as I tried to reply. Ho Hum!

NameChangingNoreen · 18/05/2026 16:37

We should name and shame!

onetrickponee · 18/05/2026 17:51

yes , have had several deleted over the last few days

User33538216 · 18/05/2026 23:03

I’ve had a few recently too - I do reply sometimes, but obviously not if they’re deleted 🤣
