Why does so much erotic literature centre around incest?

Just as the title suggests. I sometimes read erotic literature but why is it predominantly incestuous? Does this really turn people on more than 2 people who are not mother and son?

I don't know but I hate it. As soon as I realise it's an incest story I move on to a new one.

Same here, I like some absolutely filthy erotic stories and some fairly kinky porn, but I have find something else quickly if there is any hint of incest. It must be popular with some women as I don't think men are the main consumers of erotic fiction.

Can you recommend anything that is on kindle on amazon?
There seems to be so much badly written drivel out there.

I'm not sure what the ration of men versus women writing erotic fiction but I wonder if it's probably predominantly men writing it because I can't see many women being into mother and son shit.
