Last month we had sex on the 13th of the month and I started bleeding straight after. Because of the amount of blood I assumed I had started my period early (usually every 16th of the month). Something at the time I noted was that I usually have a very light period for 2 days and then it gets heavy, however this time around it was very more than usual after having sex.
Last night we had sex and I started bleeding straight after. This time round I know it’s not my period, however I’m bleeding enough to cover my pad and it’s bright red. I have bled throughout out the day today and still bleeding now.
I will be making an appointment in the morning with my GP, as I am concerned about the bleeding and to add, over the last few periods I’ve had very strange pain in my legs.
Has anyone experienced anything similar? I do have a copper coil fitted and I do occasionally have spotting in between my period, however this is something very different.
