Period late after morning after pill

my period is two days late and I have a 3 month old…not wanting to get pregnant any time soon. Only thing I can think of is I took the morning after pill. Does this affect your period?

I suggest doing a pregnancy test. I conceived my now-17-year-old son despite taking the morning-after pill. Although it advertises effectiveness up to 72 hours after unprotected sex, it's really only most effective taken 12 hours after. I didn't know this. 😔 Fingers crossed your period is on it's way though.

don’t say that 😬 had mine more than 12 hours later. I had the ellaone and looked online it says your periods can be delayed as ovulation is delayed so fingers crossed it’s on its way!

Yes, the MAP can delay your period, I’ve taken it twice and both times period started about a week later, fingers crossed for you.

Morning after pill works by preventing ovulation. So if you've already ovulated it's not effective.

I assume the pills do effect periods. But not everytime a woman has her period it happens everytime at the same time.
