Excuses not to have sex

We used to be so compatible sexually but now it seems like my DH makes any excuse not to be intimate. We have not even been married 2yrs, yet it feels like we’re slipping into that “old married couple” stage.

He admitted to me the other day that he had a wank through the night, now I’m wondering if this is what he does rather than being intimate with me.

The other night he was lying in bed hard next to me, so when I tried to initiate sex he just told me to go to sleep as I had to be up early for work!

When I try to talk to him about it, it just ends in an argument and him storming out or not speaking to me. I’m seriously thinking about pulling the plug on our marriage already.

If he won’t even have the conversation—what can you do? It appears that the only option he’s giving you is to remain in a sexless marriage. Dot you have children?

This is our second marriage. I’m in my late 40s, he’s early 50s. I have 2 children from previous marriage that live with us.

To clarify, we probably have sex once a week which i usually initiate. He used to be all over me, not anymore sadly 😐

Sounds as if you both need to chat and find out what the issues are and probably sooner rather than later.
