Morning after pill HELP

Anyone been in a similar situation? Period ended 19/8 had an oopsie on cd 13 at midnight, had LOADS of EWCM cm 13 in the am and took 2 (overweight) morning after pills about an hour after seeing ewcm. A week later I started cramping and spotting brown discharge that’s now turned into what I can describe as a light period. This stared Monday evening and it’s now Saturday morning. Although it’s a lot lighter and now pinky red I’m still spotting and I’m due on in 4 days. I know the MAP can disturb your cycle but do I class this a period? Or not? x

If you’re not TTC why does it matter? All you can do is do a pregnancy test after 14 days if you’re worried. I’m not sure the significance of the amount of ewcm?! Especially as you took the MAP. It does suggest you’re not using hormonal contraception though? May be worth revisiting?!

Ok so 1) it matters as I’m 7 months pp, just getting my cycle back and the ewcm is my indication that I’m near ovulation 2) was using contraception. The condom split and 3) I’m limited on what contraception I can use as we have a family history of blood clots and I have an iron deficiency? My question is simply asking if I count the bleeding iv had since Tuesday as down to the morning after pill or do I class it as a period?

But no one knows if it’s a period? The MAP has messed with your cycle whether or not it’s a period. Just the way it goes. Your GP will have discussed contraception at your pp check. If you’ve decided on condoms then why does it matter going forward if you are ovulating or not? If you have lots of oops moments maybe time to go back to GP?

Who says I have a lot of oops moments? This is the first time iv used the morning after pill hence the question? The dr advised i used condoms until my appt to have my tubes removed come through? As for me ovulating I put that in the original post as I know if you take the morning after pill after ovulation it doesn’t work? I’m only asking a question to see if anyone else has been through something similiar

I meant you don’t need to know if it was day 1 of your cycle for this month. All you can do is take a pregnancy test after 14 days to be sure (that yes retrospectively it was a period). EWCM is your fertile period but can go on for several days before ovulation.
