Mixed strip clubs

I know strip clubs have a bad rep, and I'm sure rightly so, but I'm wondering whether there's such a thing as mixed-gender strip clubs? ie Where there are male and female performers on the same night? (Not necessarily preforming together.)
I was just thinking it might be fun for open minded couples.

I don't think the market for male vs female strippers is equal. For men, seeing a female stripper is sexual. For women it's more of a comedy thing. It's not my thing at all, personally. I can understand a woman can appreciate a man's fit, toned body but I think the women who find it highly sexually arousing are in the minority.

Yes I can’t imagining a man stripping in front of me (because he’s being paid to) remotely sexy!

I don't think it would work. I can't imagine either sex wants the other there when appreciating their anatomy! I certainly wouldn't want ordinary men and boys seeing me excited (or amused!) by naked hunks! And the last things I want to see are naked women!

Lots of M/F couples go to lap dancing clubs together. I don't know if that's because the wives are bi, get aroused at being semi cuckolded, or are insecure/don't trust their husbands to go alone?

I don't think 'mixed' lap dancing clubs would work though, and most couples who are liberal minded enough for that scenario would probably just go to a swingers club together (even if just to watch). It'd be far more entertaining and far cheaper than getting fleeced in a lap dancing club.

Generally I would say the female audience wouldn't feel very safe in the same environment as the kind of horny, drunk men who like to visit strip clubs.

I think that the women who are open to seeing men strip - a minority I would assume - also wouldn't feel comfortable being seen by men at that time.
There's still a lot of taboo. According to societal norms, women should have zero sexual cravings or desire, no sexual phantasies, only want sex when she's in love, be a virgin until marriage, but also become a raging slut for the man who wants her, whenever he wants her.
That's why not a lot of men would approve of women visiting strip clubs, even when they visit strip club themselves.

@Girlmom35 I'd agree to an extent, but I'd like to think times are changing for the better. I'm feeling surpringly comfortable around sex with a new partner and much more able to feel, think and behave sexually than I would have 20yrs ago. (Maybe that's something to do with being mid 50s?!) We had a conversation about random things we'd each like to do - visit Petra, walk Hadrian's wall, learn to spin pottery, bungee jump, drive a fast car - that sort of thing - and burlesque and strip clubs came up. I know burlesque nights are quite gender mixed, and it just got me wondering whether there were strip clubs that had a similar ethos.
I get the impression that (eg) Killing Kittens events don't let "dirty old men" in (or at least not unchaperoned) and I could see a hole in the market for couples-only mixed-gender strip club nights, especially when gender preference boundaries are getting more blurred these days. (Ok, just a very small hole in the market!!!)

Does watching men strip turn you on OP?

yorkshireteabagman · 03/09/2025 00:23

women stripping has no appeal for me. And definitely not a bloke

I definitely agree that sexual boundaries are being pushed more and more and particularly in couples relationships. My wife and I are very open and honest with each other and find it very erotic discussing our fantasies and desires together. Not something either of us could do in our first marriages.

In doing so my DW was able to open up to me about sexual curiosity for other women and after a long discussion something we've had the pleasure of exploring.

Visiting a strip club aimed at couples is certainly something that would be of interest to us. We have visited lapdance clubs a couple of times together and enjoyed each occasion but never a strip club.

@Gymbunny2025 If I hadn't seen your comments elsewhere on this board, I'd now be questioning your gender and expecting a DM from you offering to strip for me. 🤣

@yorkshireteabagman You do you. 💋

@Daedalus59 So we're not the only ones! 😁
I'm now showing my ignorance of men's "entertainment" - I hadn't realised there was a difference between strip clubs and lap dancing. Every day's a school day!
For me a big part of the experience would be seeing my partner enjoying the show, though I think I'm curious enough about seeing both genders perform. Not being in a club populated solely by men on their own and stag dos would be the biggest part of not being really uncomfortable.

You most certainly are not. We've met some very nice couples who enjoy the more liberated aspect of like minded friends.
