Which Vibrator?

Hi,

I wonder if any other ladies out there might be able to advise.... I am currently going through the menopause, went onto HRT and as often happens during the menopause, my sex drive went off a cliff! And has been very low for the past few years....

Except... about two months ago I had an erotic dream and it triggered something and suddenly the urge came back so strongly! Honestly I am like a horny teenager, it's so weird and confusing! My husband got used to me never really being interested anymore, now he can't keep up lol :D

Sooo... I am looking for a vibrator. I do have a rampant rabbit that I have had for years but tbh it's way too noisy (don't want the whole house to know what I am up to every time!) and also where I used to find it really effective, I now find my body must have changed, maybe I am more sensitive and the settings are never quite right, either too intense or not enough.

I have heard about a toy called the womaniser which I hear is a game changer but it's quite expensive, don't necessarily want to splurge that much if it doesn't suit me... just looking for some viewpoints and thoughts really, what has worked for other people? And also the noise factor - the quieter the better!

I personally like to have a selection of all the main types. I just enjoy the different experiences from each. If you look on love honey they cater for all budgets and do own brand stuff so you don’t need to spend a fortune. Unfortunately you’ll never know until you invest whether something is wow or meh. Suction type, bullets and obviously dildos are definitely the quietest options. Also look at charging options and if they are waterproof if you might use in the bath.

I have the LH clit suction toy. It’s good but I think an actual vibrator is better for me. I like the rabbit style vibrators.

I don’t have a wide range of toys, just the two mentioned above, a vibrating dildo and a few standard dildos.

I think you usually return to a few favourites so you don’t need loads but if you want to - why not 😆

I'm 21 so my requirements may be different to you, but I find having a range is always a good thing.
Personally the rabbits I've almost always found the best, but otw they're not cheap.
Best ones have clit stimuli and are anything from £50 to £100.
However, although I'm known (among friends) for being "size conscious", more regarding men than vibrators!!, my current "goto" model is the Peachy Mini Rabbit, which I got for £17.50 and I and my bff think is the best value vibe we've ever seen (or used!!).

@MsDDxx I was always happy with my trusty rabbit and it took care of business lol so I never really tried many others - did try one that was supposed to stimulate my G-spot but didn't work for me.

Idk why the rabbit doesn't seem to do it for me anymore - it's quite old and rattly, maybe that's why and I need to invest in a new one - are the newer ones quieter?

We got ours at £17.50 from a company I think is called Nomino(?). More expensive elsewhere I think, and you may have to pay postage.

You sound like me a couple of months ago - except for the having a husband bit!! But I went for an internal use vibrating egg thing and a basic rabbit vibrator from LH - not the rampant rabbit as that was too noisy when I got one 10 years ago before throwing it out last year as I didn't use it😒. Depending on my mood/level of frustration I use either or both together ie rabbit in and bullet around the edge which was a-maze-ing!! 😀

It's so unexpected isn't it?! I still don't really know what the hell is happening!? I mean, it's nice because I am kinda feeling alive again after wondering whether that ship had pretty much sailed forever... But I do sort of wonder what it means, am I coming to the end of menopause, or the HRT is just working, or just don't worry about it and enjoy it, lol? 🤣

I have a wand style one from LH and it’s great. I used to have a rampant rabbit, but it had to go in the bin as so old and never replaced it. I’d like a small one, that isn’t so obviously a vibrator to look at, and isn’t mega noisy. Anyone have any recommendations? Just a clit stimulator type. Thanks!!

I definitely prefer the standard vibrating types over the clitoral suction toys. I started to use mine last night and ended up chucking it to one side and using my fingers instead.
