Sex with new partner

I’m fairly into a new relationship, think days, I wouldn’t call it a relationship as yet either but we have spent everyday together since we met. Last night was the first time we had sex and I enjoyed it but I didnt orgasm. I tried faking it when we were in missionary to align with his orgasm but I think he realised even though he didn’t say anything, I’m so embarrassed. I haven’t replied to any of his messages today because I am worried he might bring it up.

Im not entirely sure if I ever have orgasmed or if I even can.

im hesitant to google about this.

I would try not to focus on the first time with him. I would expect first time sex to
always be a bit awkward and perhaps disappointing because you don’t know each other in that way yet. It takes time, as everyone likes different things. I’m sure it will get better, as long as he is considerate in bed. But you also need to know what you like - so perhaps some work on your own would be a good starting point? Toys can really help if that’s something that might interest you.

Don’t feel bad that you didn’t climax through missionary - most women don’t through PIV although it can happen sometimes and it’s lovely, but it shouldn’t be “expected” if you see what I mean?

You need to know how to orgasm on your own! He can't think you're too weird if he's messaging you though. If you like him then message him back but before you have sex again tell him you've never orgasmed. I've never orgasmed through PIV I need foreplay and i make that very clear! but you really need to know what works for you by figuring it out by yourself first.

@Tia247 - Ido need to figure out what works for me first. I’ve always felt a bit unsure talking about this stuff, but I know it’s important. And yeah, the fact that he’s still messaging me does say something.

@MsDDxx - I definitely want to figure out what I like more, and I’ve been thinking about trying toys too. It’s also reassuring to hear that I’m not alone in not climaxing from just PIV.

You’re very far from alone! It’s only a small percentage of women that can climax from just PIV.

Good luck, and I hope things improve 🤞

It’s said her often, men need/want sex to feel loved, woman need to be loved to want sex.

I certainly couldn’t be in a Sexless marriage, and I suspect if this was a woman posting, the advice would be to leave and not be in a sexless relationship.

If you can live and love what you have then stay, if you can’t or don’t, then think about other options maybe .

I replied to his messages and relieved he didn’t bring it up. It was a casual text asking how I was doing. A little disheartening as normally he would have asked to come over after work or grab something to eat.
nonetheless I will be exploring my body tonight to see if I am able to orgasm on my own. I’ve never quite got there and not sure what is holding me back, hopefully the next time I see him I will have this figured out.

Sexless marriage?? They only just met. And they did the sex. 😆
