Minty/tingle condoms yea or nay?

We are condom users and have tried "stimulant" ones before - conclusion from my wife was they don't feel any different and I found them too thick and tight (Durex and Boots ribbed/dotted etc).
We had a weekend away recently and forgot to take any with us and the only emergency supply I could find was Manix Orgazmax in a discount store. I have to admit that I did not know they were ribbed/dotted when I grabbed from the shelf.
Anyhow, they are not just textured - they have a minty aroma and I could feel a cooling/tingling effect as soon as I unrolled it (they are also the thickest condom I have ever used too). I did think that dear wife was going to be put off by the mint feeling but the proceeding went well and she orgasmed intensly - quite rare. Her comment was that the condoms must have a good texture - but I wonder if it was the minty feeling that did it?
We have tried the Durex Intense gel before and that got a big no from my wife - she described it as a "burning" sensation.
Anyhow, we have used the Orgazmax at home and out of 6 sessions of intercourse, she had 2 intense orgasms - really unusual. I'll be buying more - but I wonder if any of the minty stimulants/gels I see online are better than these condoms - because to be honest, I don't like the sensation and they are rather thick for my liking. I prefer the ultra thin variety. Could we figure out a plain thin condom with the application of something like the minty stuff that Manix use on the outside of the condom only? It must be a lot milder than the burny Durex Intense gel.
Any advice?

“The only emergency supply I could find was Manix Orgazmax in a discount store.”

Did this happen to be home bargains? I bought and job lot of Manix last time they were in HB as they we’re so cheap compared to Durex but not these magical sheaths of power!

I bought a packet of Orgazmax a while ago. Similar situation - I was on my way to a date and realised that I'd forgotten to bring condoms and just popped into Home Bargains. But they felt great and lived up to their name - will be buying again!

I would be concerned about what is in them and going inside me to make them tingle. Does it contain sugar or nasty chemicals? The female PH balance is extremely delicate and not to be messed with.

All I can say is that Orgazmax didn't do me any harm - quite the opposite. Unlike Durex Tingle, which I tried a few years ago and which don't seem to be around anymore, and which did cause a feeling which was nice at first but didn't go away and became less pleasant long after the intercourse happened, Orgazmax didn't have any unpleasant after effects. It was just the ribs and dots that worked on me during the sex itself. But maybe others users experienced them differently.
