Painful sex

Hey, I'm 34F and just asking for similar experiences or any insight etc

In short - I've been back and forward to the doctor's since having my child at 30. My periods are noticeably more painful now and my pms is much worse.
I've had scans for PCOS and a hysteroscopy, along with blood tests. I've been told there's nothing wrong.

To add to other experiences, I had a surgical pregnancy termination at 31, following 2x failed medical terminations.

Sex is also painful in most positions which has brought me to this topic as I'm in pain for quite a few days after sex. Like period cramps. I feel like I have this almost all of the time, but definitely heightened after sex.

I guess I've given up going to the doctors, but obviously not opposed. Just wondering if there's anything specific I can explore?

Tia!

It sounds like your body has been through an awful lot, and unfortunately like you’re not going to get away without a visit to the doctor. You could always visit a private gynaecologist if you can afford it? If not, I’m sure the GP will refer you.

You shouldn’t have to put up with it; it could be something that is not too difficult to fix.

Have they looked into endometriosis?

Yeah I just keep getting ignored at the doctor's really, until I push for something but I don't really know what to push for 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think so but I don't remember how they test for it?
