Sex and pregnancy

Hi, I’m coming up to 3 months (yay!) but never thought that once I finally got pregnant I’d still be horny. If anything I thought I’d get less aroused (I’ve been telling DH through ever since we started conceiving). Is this normal? Will this go away as I move through trimesters?

And I presume it’s best to stay off my back and only do those positions while I’m on top? Any advice gratefully received.

It's not uncommon to have a higher sex drive during certain - maybe all - stages of your pregnancy. Certainly not every woman has a lower sex drive. If you're not too bothered by morning sickness and fatigue during the first trimester and your back and pelvis isn't killing you during the third, then nothing's stopping you.
At 3 months you probably hardly have a bump yet, so don't worry too much about which positions you should or shouldn't use. Anything still goes at this stage.

Normal, hormones can effect people different ways. Might change when you're much bigger and uncomfortable, but then again might not. Avoid flat on your back for too long from 28 weeks onwards (weight of uterus compresses major blood vessels and reduces blood flow to baby). Only becomes heavy enough from 28 weeks on so all good for now. Congrats and enjoy!

I just avoided my husband lying on top of me throughout my pregnancies. When I got too big towards the end, going on top felt the most comfortable or I would lie on my side and he would enter from behind. I think the thing about lying flat on your back is mainly while you're sleeping.
