Hello everyone! Me and my partner are in an open relationship and have been for a few years now. Over that time we've had a few group experiences and it's made me discover that I am in fact bisexual. As a woman in her early 40s discovering new aspects of my sexuality was a surprise but it's been an enjoyable discovery process. Well over the last few weeks I've been chatting to a lovely lady and I'm going to go and have some fun with her this weekend. I've done things with women in a group context but never just the two of us. I'm very excited but more nervous than I am when meeting with men

Has the woman you're meeting been solo with women before? Explain its your first time outside of a group session and allow her to take the lead

Do you think that you will continue with the partner who I assume is male? Or are you looking to spend much more time with this woman and develop a relationship?
On a practical note, she will most likely have polished her house and all will be immaculate. She will be so much more attentive than most men would be.

Don't drink (too much!), you'll have a better time sober. Make sure your hands are smooth and nails short 😉 Ask/ show each other what you like, take your time and enjoy yourselves, it's far less performative than when there are men/ a group involved.

Hope the OP comes back after her date. I am even more unsure of how to get it on with a woman. Unlike her, my experience has only been with men but I have been invited out by a woman. Not just as a friend going to the cinema but invited as a date. I am looking forward to it but a bit unsure how it will go.
