Manor House fantasy and outfits?

I read on here once about how some couples have done the whole Manor House thing, and stayed in one and had period outfits for the occasion.

it sounds fun - any recommendations on places to stay near London and where do you get good outfits from?!

I'm genuinely wondering now whether the Regency Dances I see advertised in period buildings are a front for something erotic. If people do crave those period fantasies, there must be a market for the type of thing you describe, OP. Afraid I don't have a proper recommendation for you.

@ForestOfDean well it’s not something I’d ever really thought of before, but we were with some couple friends recently discussing Bridgerton and all of the men seemed to fancy it! So I thought I’d have a look into it

ive not done a weekend like you describe but I have organised residential costume parties when I’ve hired the whole premises. They were attended by mainly couples we knew but there were a few singles who brought their own energy 🔥.

They weren’t specific erotic parties but what is notable is that particularly for the women (sister &wife feedback) that removing the to and from venue travel and any staff made for more relaxed atmosphere and their costumes reflected that 😳.

The always turned out to be very successful weekends. They definitely had a sexual charge (the themes brought that) We did on occasion play some games that charged things up a bit which may sound cheesy but everyone took part. There were a few singles and couples who appeared to disappear for a hour and come back flushed which was interesting. 🤔

I would definitely try and organise it if you have the interest and the money (my budget was limited) I would think that in London there would be a few theatrical costume places that would have what you’re looking for and venue wise there maybe some interesting Airbnb that fits the bill.
