Unexpected teeth straightening consequences

I might go mad and splash out a bit of money on straightening my teeth to launch myself back out into the world of dating with a bit of much needed confidence.
Without further ado, my question is about blow jobs. At the end of this treatment apparently you get a small wire retainer fixed behind your teeth to keep them in place. Would a gentleman be able to feel this, or worse still be scratched by it in the heat of the moment? Or even just while kissing? It's something I'd never really thought of til now, and don't particularly want to bring it up with my dentist. It's certainly not in the FAQs in the info. Any lived experience anyone?

The wire on the back is nothing compared to the one on the front for the straightening and neither of them have any effect. The wire tend to falls off after about a year anyway.
