Hi all ,

I had a baby 5 weeks ago and had sex for the first time a few days ago and I felt sooo loose. 🤦🏼‍♀️ it's my second baby, and it felt like the opening was much wider 😭
It didn't even feel as pleasurable for me it felt so wide.

After my first baby j was hypertonic and I think n there may have been an extra stitch put in after episiotomy and it felt really tight. This time I had a natural tear which was restitched but I feel totally different and I'm panicking.

My question is : because it's early days is there a chance it will tighten up lots more? I've been doing my kegals but this feels like more the entrance js the issue. Not to be vile but it almost feels like from the opening up to my clit is now the opening size and it used to be like a two euro coin size .

Can anyone shed light?? 😭

Following as this is exactly me now! Although not had sex yet.. 7 weeks PP
Have vaginal looseness and prolapse feelings dislodged tampon/heavy sensation. Told by GP and obstetric dr it is just laxity post childbirth and normal will get better in time with PFE
Ive seen private women’s health physio today who confirmed that there is vaginal wall laxity which is what I can see in bulging in the entrance and no obvious prolapse she had a feel and confirmed I have very weak pelvic floor muscles so could hardly feel a squeeze. But also said I do have a slight bladder descent but was reluctant to call it a prolapse as it’s so early postpartum and seemed quite confident it would get better with time and exercises.
In terms of the entrance hole this is exactly how I feel that from the clitoris down all feels open and doesn’t feel like I have an obvious opening anymore. She said that this was my inner labia and she feels that is somewhat dehydrated where it would normally be quite bulbous so would normally fill that area creating a smaller hole but because I am breastfeeding that My hormones are lacking oestrogen So can be quite dry down there. She said I have mild vaginal atrophy too..
apparently breastfeeding has a big effect on things tightening back up too so was just wondering if you are breastfeeding too?
have you had anymore updates with health professionals?
also have you had sex since ? Any changes ?
