I know it’s not for everyone but I do enjoy dressing up for sex. I love the reaction it gets and also makes me feel very naughty,
especially if the outfit is a bit kinky.

Looking for suggestions from real life experiences, what did you wear that really turned your partner on? And did you leave the outfit on to the end (I do love this).

Male here, best for me was years ago my partner dressed as police women handcuffed me and teased me for ages, cant beat it

There are several things that we enjoy. My partner is a bit of a foot and shoe fetishist so he likes it especially when I wear thigh boots. They don't cover up any of the fun bits so they can stay on throughout the entire procedure. I've also got a waist trainer with an open bust and a high back, which I think cinches me in and puts me on display very nicely, so that's very popular. Perhaps rather unusually, I'm not a fan of stockings - I think they look rather tacky - so we don't do those. But there's plenty of other stuff that's fun to wear and seems to enhance the experience.

I love dressing up for sex! I think lots of people assume the women are doing it for the man's benefit but I get really turned on by it. I've not really done fancy dress though as a character/role play like naughty nurse etc. I do have a bodystocking and a catsuit thing but I'm more into sexy lingerie sets and being myself. I think I'd get the giggles and ruin it all trying to be a police woman 👮‍♀️

I get my stockings from La Perla and they are anything but tacky.

On another thread a woman wore Jane Austen type long clothes. She was very shy about being naked after childbirth. She said it was effective.
My favourite was the Octoberfest, Bavarian woman, lots of decoration around a usually square neckline. Petticoats to build up the skirt. White stockings, (pants optional).
Snag for me is it doesn't work on women as it does on men. Ahhh!

Dressing up for sex? I would just burst out laughing. I try to look nice underneath it all on a day to day basis; I take pride in my underwear. I wouldn't wear a pair of Sloggi white knickers or something from a Tesco multipack. But I wouldn't dress up for the bedroom either.

I think if you're into that, confident and you have a willing partner then enjoy it, whatever you want to wear... No one else's opinion really matters :-)

Me being an insecure tomboy who hates their body feels incredibly awkward and it's just not something I can do. I can't go from dressing like a 13 year old boy to wearing lacy dresses or PVC skirts and heels... Never have and never Will.

Don't forget, it doesn't have to be the stereotypical 'sexy' stuff. I've come across people who enjoy wearing motorcycle boots and leather jacket, apparently. The main thing is to find items you enjoy wearing and feel good about yourself in.

A great line I read recently was "I like your boring pants - I'm the only one who gets to see them."
Dressing up in the context of role play really doesn't work for me, so OP's nurse uniform wouldn't be my choice. It might just have some appeal other than the design, but if I admit to that I'm just going to get loads of unwanted DMs. 🙈🙉🙊

Used to have a sexy red bodysuit and a black one too, partly shiny wet-look PVC. From Ann Summers I think. Felt naughty and sexy all at the same time. Wearing those and either teasingly removing them or just keeping them on was a massive turn on for both of us.

But it's the masseuse / client getting too cheeky, secretary being brought into boss office / it's fun. Rare when it happens as we both need to be happy, relaxed, and on a rare child free night.

My Honey Birdette lingerie is usually well received by DP and makes me feel gorgeous.

But I also like to get creative with it. I'm off to Torture Garden in November and the theme is the "toy factory". I'm going as a broken doll. Pink latex skater dress, collar, big hair bow, gloves, torn stockings, and a face of "ruined" make up. Can't wait to see everyone's costumes!

I've just had a distracting experience. This morning I was wearing a stretchy faux leather pencil skirt and Mary Jane high heels but was bare up top and my partner came in and the effect on him was obvious. So much so that 'working from home' was temporarily abandoned. Right, better have a quick shower and get back to work. Must try this half clothed half naked malarkey again - it seems to have touched a nerve.

Ohh I love this. I have the same effect on my man when I wear a leather skirt and a shiny satin blouse. It can be even more fun when I go out for dinner wearing this, he’s ready to burst by the time we get home x

Unsurprisingly, this all seems to be about women dressing up for men. I don't see anything wrong with that and this is NOT a feminist rant, but I'm just wondering if anyone's male partner "dresses up for sex" and if so what they're wearing?

Well, if we're talking about men wearing things @mnmnddddd I can start the ball rolling. I've affected a sort of Goth aesthetic since my teenage years, so I suppose my preferences ar a bit predictable but here goes. Men wearing boots, especially riding boots or motorbike boots, help me along the way a bit. Wearing leather items too - trousers, waistcoats, jackets and the like - gets me interested as well. Men wearing something tight on the lower half such as leggings, tight trousers or bike shorts looks good. It's not really 'dressing up' but I always look at men's hands and arms. If they look like they're strong and purposeful - not necessarily overly muscular, but looking like they could do some serious work and hold me tightly. The latter isn't something you can easily put on or take off for a romp, of course, but it all helps get the mind working and the juices flowing.

Yes, we've got most of these items and they do indeed form a part of our intimate play, or at least the run up to it before they're discarded on the bedroom floor.

Bumless leather chaps used to do it for me lol. My STBXH used to be wearing them when I got home from work when we were young and in love.
