Looking for a Black Lace book from the 1990s

I’m hoping that MNs ability to track down anything on line can help me out.

Back in the mid 90s I found a Black Lace book in my mums room … I borrowed it to read having no idea what I was about to find. It was, literally, mind blowing and educational and erotic and all things.

I know there have been a million Black Lace books published but I’d love to read this one again.

I can’t remember the title, but it was set in the future - all humans lived in space and there were bandits / pirates so all the “posh” people lived an effectively gated community lifestyle. Main character was frustrated / bored and set up a kidnap by one of these pirates. I seem to recall a scene near the end that involved a lot of food.

Written down now it doesn’t appear to have been a classic 😆 but it holds a lot of nostalgic memories, plus I’m really god damn frustrated at the moment and could do with some inspiration.

Does it ring any bells with anyone?

Pretty obvious suggestions but you could search Amazon...the books section...that may eliminate the pop song 😆. There are lots of second hand book sellers on there...you might find it. Obviously much easier if you could recall the title. Then there is that well known auction site.

This book was definitely from the Black Lace series … it was very eye opening to teenage me I recall borrowing it out of my mums room every time I had the house to myself… probably don’t need to spell the rest out

I think there were probably many books written by many authors - hundreds I think. I was hoping there might be a website somewhere recording than all but I haven’t found one.

the copy I bought was only a few pounds I promise. I’m keen to read it again, but not that keen.

This takes me back! I remember finding a book in the Black Lace series on a bookshelf in the spare room of a relative's house where we stayed sometimes. It must have been in the late 1980s.

It was real eye-opener to my younger self! Like the OP I'd be quite interested to read it again to see if it had the same impact or whether I might find the style etc a bit meh, these days.
