We use this excuse aswell. Its crazy how many times over the past few months I have required my wife to help me out to sort something in the garage

Lol we go outside to "check the garden" sometimes and end up having a bit of fun in the summer house or I help "sort the washing" upstairs works well too.

Yes, come and help me sort the wine cellar. Or sometimes, I am helping with clearing the out building. The drawing room does need a bit of work it has to be said so sometimes we use that too.

Or even the need to help clean the stables.
