Met a new guy, he’s being very respectful and taking things slow and being generally lovely. I like him but would also like to get laid. Not entirely sure how to nudge him that way or do I just come out and tell him to get his pants off?

You could try asking if they fancy "Doing squat thrusts in the cucumber patch" or want to "Grope for trout in a peculiar river". Hopefully they'll get the hint.

I am with MisterT373 on this. Just be honest and tell him that you'd very much like to have sex. If you start beating around the bush, so to speak, you just do not know how he will interpret what you have said. If you are brutally blunt and tell him in a way that is impossible to misconstrue, you will at least get an honest, down to earth response.

Invite him for dinner. Wear some sexy lingerie and after dinner pop out to the bedroom and come back wearing underwear. That will get the message through😊...and have condoms to hand in case he doesn't have any with him...Good luck...

Just ask him if he wants to go to bed. It's not rocket science. And make sure you have condoms, he might not. Especially if he is to expecting it.

Ok so here's an idea...at least a couple of courses for your meal and the first course cold and second waitable, if you are cooking get it ready in the kitchen and come to the table in your choice of sexy underwear or perhaps with just your boobs out and ask him what's his preference.

I suggested dinner at his and he cooked. He suggested we watch a movie and I countered with “rather get my kit off in the bedroom”. Apparently that was 100% the right answer and whilst my gentle innuendo during the week had been noticed he was too worried about being seen as pushy to make the first move. I am pretty blunt and I was fairly sure I was going to get an enthusiastic yes. Having had one relationship with a guy who turned out to be very much a no sex person I really wanted to make sure we were on the same page before too long so was willing to risk a rejection.

I met a lady on O.L.D. some years ago. I arranged to go to her house and we would then go for a meal together at a local Chinese resturant.
