Best onscreen sex and couples

I love Lady Chatterleys Lover on Netflix right now, as the sex scenes center the woman's pleasure, rather than the typical (deadly boring) porn.

The male actor is also very sexy (nothing worse than a beautiful woman who is with a male actor that is not in her league!). It immediately reads like a male fantasy and not believable or sexy for women.

Can you recommend any legit movies/TV with fire couples having the kind of sex women actually want/find erotic?

I like the Kate and Anthony sex scene in Bridgerton for this, very female centered!

Oh yeah saw that years ago, @lostincumbria the build up to the relationship was great. The actual sex I felt was somewhat voyeuristic as the director was male. I don’t think it would have been filmed that way if the director had been the French female director of “Lady Chatterley’s Lover”. By voyeuristic it felt the sex was more about the (male) viewer than the lovers.

First series of Bridgerton

A very steamy movie that I had never heard of but came out in 2013 is Adore with Naomi Watts and Robin Wright (who are both gorgeous older women in this). It’s the most taboo crossing movie for regular consumption that I have encountered. They are best friends who live in houses on a beautiful coastal area of Australia with tons of beaches. They both have a young adult son each, I think you can see where this is going ..... I discovered it one night on Amazon. Very sexy and titillating. Again with a female director.

Oh..another I came across recently that was new to me “Unfaithful” made in 2002 with Richard Gere, Diane Lane & Olivier Martinez. It’s a great movie. It’s very much focused on the major female character’s desire.

Normal People (2020) TV series set in Ireland about a couple of teenagers and their secret relationship which then continues when they go to Uni. Paul Mescal in the male lead, plenty of focus on female sexuality and double standards.

This was an excellent find. Watched this last year with OH. :)

Just watched 'Good Luck To You Leo Grande'' on Prime and it is an AMAZING film about an older lady exploring her sexuality with a sex worker. Directed by a women. Very empowering for an older lady, about breaking shame and enjoying sexual exploration..also very funny!
