Bothered by partner masturbating?

Hi all,

I was having a conversation with a guy friend the other day, and he happened to mention that his wife and he didn't have sex as much as he would like, but she also didn't like him to masturbate as it made her feel like she wasn't all he needed etc.

Now, I don't know them well enough to know about their relationship, but I wondered if anyone else had a simiar experience, that their partner didn't like them to masturbate or that you don't like your partner to?

Or, do you like it, and like to know about it?

Or is it simply something that you and/or your partner do and keep quiet about?

DH at least once a day and I call him Mr Masterbater at times, lol. I rarely did and did not admit it but DH had got me going again about once a week often on sundays in the shower with the new toy he got me last year
Nothing wrong with it IMO and IMO nothing to feel worried about. Actually, shows they are not getting enough but I find playing with myself different to DH. DH thinks about other blokes with me havig sex when M/bating. However, I just think about cuming.
