My DP of 3Y is quite shy in the sense that there isn't a lot of experimenting happening, not that I mind, but I want to surprise him when he gets back from a work trip abroad (he's been away for a few weeks).

The possibility exists that he simply doesn't know how or what to experiment with, or he is very happy with what you might be seeing as (and I'm putting words in your mouth) "boring" sex.

Does he know what you want? Have you told him?

I'd maybe start with a open and frank discussion about what you would like to try with him - he may be well up for it, or he may not, but you need to talk to him and find out.

I'm not a man. But I think it's important that you should wear something that you feel sexy in.
Every man, as you can see, has their own interpretation of what they would like. But the biggest factor that repeats itself in this forum from men, is that you feel and give off confidence. You won't do that unless you're in lingerie that you're comfortable in.

Completely agree. Lingerie does very little for me, generally speaking, but sometimes DW wears it, or something like a bodystocking to make her feel more sexy and confident. Wear it for yourself and the rest will follow! Good luck!

It would be a big turn on for me, but as others have said, wear something that makes you feel good about yourself.
