Boudoir photoshoot

Has anyone done one? I'm really tempted, as I'd love some photos to look back on and be proud of. I've finally got the confidence in my body to do it.

But the experience itself just feels a bit sleezy! Has anyone done this sort of thing and it's not been a drooling smoking man leering behind a 1980s Canon taking the shots?

I'm looking at the buyagift option to make it feel a bit safer, if that helps.

I've never done it, but I have friends that have and they loved it!

It can be a really exciting, fun and empowering experience - that's what I got from my friends that did it. I have always fancied it one day.

Maybe take a friend if you're worried about safety?

For Your Eyes Only in High Wycombe are amazing. Fully female team and nothing sleazy about it. Would highly recommend.

Please tread very carefully if you search for a photographer other than via an established company. In my experience many guys who shoot nudes will push their luck and try to get you to do stuff you're not comfortable with. The last tog I chatted to wanted to cover me in blood for a shoot. If you go fine that's route be very clear what you want and take a chaperone.

Agree re checking out the outfit. I used one recommended by a friend who had been given a photoshoot. Whilst he was male, there was other females in the business and it didn't have a dirty feel to it.

It was fun. It is a fine line as they need to know what you would like to achieve and also understand that some women do want more risqué type pictures. I think in reality most are more unsure until they try, which was definitely me the second time anyway. They did a questionnaire with me and asked me basically!

My shoot was very much arrive, make up etc and suggested different clothes and then lingerie. I did a set, break and change and then more. There was an obvious point whereby if I wanted more risqué then I needed to respond to suggestions, and he would say "if you want to show more boob, then you can on this one" etc. my second set were definitely in the much more raunchy span and I do love them, as does my DH! I had an idea before over what poses as I had seen a portfolio book of customers that were happy for them to show their pics, presumably for a discount or free. There were a couple that modelled in an open fronted basque which was very sexy but stylish. I did do a similar pose
