Just wondering if people in a relationship know how much their partner masturbates?

We have talked about it plenty of times before and he's always said it was not much of a thing for him other than once a week or so but recently he's said he gets the urge to masturbate much more frequently and usually every day for a while now. I don't mind and and much prefer to know about it than him doing it in secret but wondered if others knew what their partner did and talked about it openly?

Couple of times a week, not sure if DW knows, not something we talk about, no idea how often or even if she masturbates, told me once she’d never done it as she’d never needed to as always had piv sex from being young,not sure if that’s true or even if it’s not unusual for a woman to never do it .

We discuss it, have done for the last few years, although been together 20. DH probably daily, me every couple of days. Like others have said, it's needed as you don't always coincide with feeling in the mood/not tired.

I think everyone does it. especially in a relationship when you start getting busy lives and kids etc so less couples intimate time or privacy. Human need. Should be private but nothing to be embarrassed about.

I've asked my partner before and he always says he doesn't so I don't ask anymore. He's never asked me, but I do almost every day and I've no idea if he knows but I don't think he cares...

That's interesting that you find that sad. It's the same with me and my wife. She doesn't masturbate often if at all these days but I do and she doesn't ask me about it.

Hmm! I personally don’t do it too much on my own! Once in a while if im really bored or missing my boyfriend. I usually tell him about it afterward as I know it turns him on. We do talk about it tho, he reckons since we got together it’s less than before as he knows he’ll get his needs met over the weekend (we don’t live together), maybe a couple of times a week. Sometimes we do together over the phone or via WhatsApp and send videos. It keeps us close in LDR. I don’t feel like I need to know tho, it’s more nosiness if I ask.
