So I've always assumed that women don't have sex while Aunt Flo's in town, but I googled it and apparently it's a thing!

Would you have sex on your period?

OP posts:

Yes.

ThisIsMeToooo · 14/10/2022 10:32

Interesting first post.

ShineOnYouLikeMorningStar · 14/10/2022 10:34

You namechanged because...?

pinkpanel · 14/10/2022 10:44

I have really really heavy periods so personally it's a no for me but I wouldn't be against it if it was lighter

VatofTea · 14/10/2022 10:45

Of course, it's relaxing. Put a towel down, and not during heaviest part.

andynarwhal · 14/10/2022 10:45

Is this where we're supposed to start discussing knitting patterns?

touchedout2022 · 14/10/2022 10:45

I am horny er during my period 🫣🙈

RandomMusings7 · 14/10/2022 10:46

No, thank you.

Watchkeys · 14/10/2022 10:56

It's a thing for some women, not for others. It's a matter of preference.

CarefreeMe · 14/10/2022 10:56

Yes of course.
I didn’t realise that some women didn’t.

If I feel bloated or in pain then I wouldn’t but I wouldn’t do it off my period if I felt like that either.

butchersshrink · 14/10/2022 10:57

Yes! I'm way hornier during menstruation and it feels so good.

KangarooKenny · 14/10/2022 10:58

No.

Bigbadfish · 14/10/2022 10:58

For me. Absolutly not.

Bigbadfish · 14/10/2022 10:58

But then I use the implant to switch them off.

AnnapurnaSanctuary · 14/10/2022 10:58

TheLoupGarou · 14/10/2022 10:59

Getting strong hairy handed trucker vibes OP....

girlmom21 · 14/10/2022 11:00

No thank you.

kaymc3 · 14/10/2022 11:02

If I'm really horny and my partner is ok with it then yes!! If they weren't then I'd be alright with that. I've done it in the past when I was in a LTR. Not sure id do it in a new/casual relationship

Jackienory · 14/10/2022 11:04

I would but my husband won't.

hellosunshineagainxxx · 14/10/2022 11:04

This has got to be for an article/newspaper :/

Ofcourseshecan · 14/10/2022 11:06

I used to use my contraceptive cap (ok with light flow), but I read that it increases the risk of toxic shock syndrome.

CrunchyCarrot · 14/10/2022 11:10

No never did.

DarkShade · 14/10/2022 11:20

So good of you to join mumsnet to ask this pressing question.

TescoCustomerService · 14/10/2022 11:32

Yes, doesn't bother me or my partner, actually helps if cramps are particularly bad

Panauchocolat25 · 14/10/2022 11:40

No.
