Just a rant really, I am so pissed off!!
I've been in a sexless marriage for many years and we have separated. Met a nice new man 3 months ago and had amazing sex, I haven't stopped thinking about it since!

We haven't been able to see each other alone for about 7 weeks and I am absolutely desperate to get my hands on him, and his on me!

We're spending the night together this coming weekend and I now have thrush.....why now 😩😩. I swear the universe doesn't want me to enjoy a sex life!

Can you get some canesten once and take it asap - should be clear by the weekend.

Get the tablet and not just the cream

I've been reading you'd need to wait around 7 days to be fully treated, I'll call in the pharmacy first thing tomorrow!!
The build up has been going on for days via sexting and I don't know how I can turn round and say I have thrush!!!!

I used to work for the company that made Cannesten, the cream shouldn’t sting when applied externally I suggest to go to a doctor as it may not be (just) thrush.

@chocolateonmyface ok thank you, I think I'll have to ring docs tomorrow. Took the tablet yesterday morning and no better 😞

What age are you? I thought I had thrush, but actually pere menopausal. Itched like mad, even went to the clinic for a check up. Thrush cream burned for me too.

Hope it went well. Fluconazole is your friend - clears it up in about 48hrs. Creams etc are pretty pointless , though they can help relieve the itch if driving you mad, they don't cure it.
