Hair down there…

I have come out a long term relationship in the last year and now have a new partner. We will be having sex for the first time and I am not sure what to do about the bikini line situation? What is the done thing for hair down there these days? It’s been a while

Ha ha! My DW said the same thing about it looking bigger! Am far too scared for waxing… anyway between shaving and growing my hair she already thinks I’m having a midlife crisis! 🤣

Although a bad trim can (as Spike Milligan once wrote) make it look like the last turkey in the shop.

Or you can go one step further and have a back, sack and crack wax 😂

I am definitely not ready for that!!!

Looking at my naked self in the mirror, l can’t remember what l looked like with pubic hair; I’ve been all off since my mid to late teens, 40s now. It’s a personal choice though, I’ve even been asked to grow it in the past, but it’s not me!

Over the years l have shaved, trimmed and “Veeted” a number of men too.

l really wish men would pay more attention to unruly underarm hair as well.

Not thought about my underarm hair!

It was like an epiphany when I looked in the mirror after shaving down there. Felt completely different.

@40somethinginashford - Deodorant is not so effective on hairy armpits.

Never realised how icky my under arm hair was!

Do what makes you feel comfortable.

Personal preference. I think totally bald looks revolting 🤷‍♀️

Wife and I in our mid-50s and it's thinned out a little for both of us - straightened out a bit, too, curiously! 😂As I mentioned in a previous post I prefer "au naturel" (though smooth is good too!)

I can clearly see all my wife's beautiful parts even when she's standing up straight, so it's a win win for us!

You identify a reason why men like the bare look so much, that being they are very visual creatures. My DH explained when I asked him once why he liked me fully waxed and he said he loves seeing me whether in the shower, bath or getting dressed. Giving oral with no hair is also much nice.

@pilates well everyone has their own preference...I used to have a bush that was just kept tidy but wearing bikinis and thongs it needs more cropping so my beautician suggested once I try a full wax so I did. Never looked back and certainly DH reaction when he first discovered the change makes me never want to go back. Is just normal to me now.

Is it quite high maintenance keeping on top of the bare look @Marieg1990 ?
Do you have to go for weekly waxing?

Personally, I find all off simple and less high maintenance than partial such as a landing strip or other topiary.

No...I have a regular beauticians appointment circa 3 weeks. Just have done as part of that (prefer to have it done first as the rest is nicer). I'm a natural blonde so isn't dark and course, more fine. Obviously there has to be some re growth but I prefer to shaving.
