Pain during sex

Hi,

Recently I’ve been experiencing pain during sex and even if we’re not having sex, I have had a dull cramp in my pelvic area, also on the right hand side of this area. I’m planning on speaking to a doctor today but has anyone else and this and know what it may be?

Just as a precaution, might be wise to have an STI check. Many infections can cause pain. Also if over 24 and in UK, keep up to date with smears. It is wise to talk to your GP, other reasons could be ovarian cyst or ectropion. There are many not so serious reasons that could be easly rectified, so don't panic.

You do not mention your age. Could it be linked to onset of Perimenopause or Menopause?

I have that. It's linked to my piles.
