I’m NOT asking for your stories . But I had literally planned this weekend around “me time”

Now the weekend is gone. I’m not mad about it but pondering that I can’t be the only one and also wondering how long I can get away with “not much just chilled out” when colleagues ask what I’ve done this weekend

Just tell them you’ve done a retreat at home and there was lots of meditation involved 😉

Tell them you spent time checking out a old friend .

Ah Yes, dressing up in something special and feminine. Not done that in a while for ....me time.

How about 'I spent most of the weekend in.bad actually...' accompanied by sad face that leads them to believe it was for entirely different reasons ?

You could make time for yourself by going out. Men do. Not just the ones that want to frighten women from the bushes.
I have sat in the car looking at a view or the rain, listening to music. Usually not by myself I admit.
But it would get you out away from the ironing or clutter.

Best you don't scream too much though.
